I designed and developed a custom WordPress website for CTS Waikato, a full-service trades company based in Hamilton. The build focused on local trust, modern responsiveness, SEO performance, and a strong integration of real-world visuals and live content.
Integrated Social Media Updates
To create a sense of immediacy and authenticity, I embedded a real-time Facebook feed directly onto the homepage. This allows visitors to see the team’s most recent projects, updates, and community involvement — all without leaving the site.
This live stream approach gives the site a “living” feel and keeps content fresh, encouraging repeat visits and building trust through transparency.
Deep, Rich Service Pages
Each core trade offered by CTS Waikato — Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, and Interior — has its own dedicated page, complete with in-depth service breakdowns and real-world examples. I structured these to be easy to scan for visitors while also optimized for search engines.

SEO at Heart
From the ground up, I structured the site with clean, semantic HTML and proper heading hierarchy (H1, H2, etc.). I implemented schema where possible and ensured that each service page:
- Includes target keywords for trade-specific search queries
- Has a descriptive meta title and meta description
- Uses fast-loading images with alt text
- Has readable, indexable URLs like
